Do your awning arms close completely?

?Ours do not seem to lay flat to the side of the trailer, and they don't seem to be binding anywhere.

Is this normal on your 337?

Our looks about the same. The outer awning arms are out slightly at the top from being parallel with the inner arms. Looking at it from the roof, the awning can't retract any further as the drive motor is right against the inner arm.

I had posted on this earlier and all of the replies were the same as here. If you take a look at the mounting rail it can't be mounted any higher on the camper because of the slope of the roof in the front. In order to get it higher the whole assembly would need to move toward the rear of the camper but it cant because of the slide out. The only other way would be to put a shorter awning on.

Thanks! I thought that the way the motor head was it couldn't close all the way, but I have never seen an awning that doesn't close up tight!
