    Jack Pads

My wife and I are newbies. We keep our Solitude 368 at a RV park with gravel pads. I'd like to know if anyone has any suggestions regarding placing pads under the Jacks and wheels to keep off the gravel? the yellow ones I have are clearly not made for the weight under the tires. Any suggestions?

If you are referring to the plastic "block" for RV use, they are rated to 30000 pounds each per Camping World. Attached is picture of the yellow ones. Orange ones, Lynx Levelers, usually can get at Wally World have a 3 year guarantee. I have orange ones, have had them for over 8 years, only broke one so far and that was last year. Reason for breakage, put down on gravel, very large gravel pieces. I have used them on gravel as you would find in a campsite, no problems..

Thanks, I have the "yellow" ones and they are cracking already. I am looking into Hosspad Extreme pads - a little pricey but sound like would be a good compliment to the plastic blocks.

I have a set of the orange Lynx levelers. Of course I also carry 12 (or so) pieces of of 12" 6X6 wood, and 6 2X12 blocks to set them on if necessary. I learned the "hard" way about just putting the lynz levelers on the ground without something under them. Had to actually dig a couple back out of the ground after a particular wet camping episode with my Sandpiper. I usually put the 2X12 down and then the levelers on top of that.

These are the ones I use under my landing gear:

these are the ones I use if it's a really un-level site. I don't like the tires being off the ground with the level up system:
