    Sliding desk drawer 369RL

Does anyone have any suggestions on how to keep the sliding desk drawer in the stored position while traveling? Our drawer always slides out while we are traveling.

    Any help would be appreciated.

    Thx.

You should have a locking pin for it while traveling.

If you look under it, the right side cabinet door, there is supposed to be a locking catch that slides up into the desk top.

Mine did the same thing. I adjusted the catches but it was a bit of a pain since you have to slide the desk completely out to get to them. Problem solved. I didn't know there was a locking pin. I'll check that out.

If I ever have any doors or drawers that consistently come out, a set of baby cabinet locks will be installed.

    huntr70,

How do you know this? Mine does not have a locking pin. Maybe they added it later????

There is a locking pin in ours. You must open the door on the lower right side of the entertainment center and then blindly feel in the upper front, left corner and ours has a pin type lever that you can turn and pull to unlock.

Ours came from the factory with the lock. Its really just one of those gate latches you slide into a hole in the bottom of the desk. If the cabinetry hasn't changed it would be pretty easy and cheap to add one yourself. Its simple once you see it. Looks something similar to this if I remember correctly.

Yeah, they did it on the 2nd generation and up builds.

Not sure which number build is the breaking point, but most of the ones with the U shaped front closet should have the locking pin.
