Don - I checked several available sources and so far there is not a NE rally scheduled. There are two that may possibly work for you:

9/27/19 - 9/29/19: Western and Central New York rally in Farmington NY.
10/9/19 - 10/14/19: Mid Atlantic rally in Millsboro Delaware.

Thanks Jim! I’ll look into that. New it was too god to be true 🤪
Might just end up at the big rally in Indiana. Did a factory tour before we bought ours and would love to go back.

HIGHLY recommend going to the Elkhart / Goshen rally in Indiana.

Hi Jim, That western/central NY rally is filled. It’s being held at Canadaigua KOA, a VERY small campground.

    Hi Dhuggs,

There’s a group of us who wanted to informally get together to discuss what we might do to put together a rally in the future, somewhere a bit more westerly of the coastal states. We are planning a camping weekend for July 12 at “The Villages at Turning Stone”. It’s just off the NYS Thruway. You’re welcome to join in. They begin taking reservations on January 2, daily from 8am to 4pm. We are trying to get spots in the “Poplar” village. They offer 10% off for AAA and Good Sam members. If you’ve never been, it’s a beautifully landscaped campground with all hookups and amenities included in the very reasonable price.

Thinking the OP saw the NE (Northeast) rally that was Delaware. They changed it now so it would not be confused with New England (NE) in the future.

That makes sense, as NE could be interpreted as either one. Not sure on the other Turning Stone “gatherers” motivation, but for me, 1) don’t like huge campgrounds or crowds and 2) don’t like congested urban highways/traffic. Nice forested area, just off a main thoroughfare, easily accessible to participants is more my speed. I think our little group was interested in some GD participation more inland, away from all the traffic and congestion. Hopefully, topics for discussion at our little gathering.

I personally like to camp in the state campgrounds in the Adirondacks, large sites with plenty of space between you and your neighbors. There are some limitations due to our size, but we have pretty much scoped everything out and know what sites we can fit in.
