    Backup camera wiring for Solitude?

I noticed mention of backup camera wiring for the Momentum but haven't heard if there is anything available on the Solitude line. Also any recommendations on good wireless camera systems?

No difference in wiring. They tie into the clearance lights on the rear for power.

Wireless monitor goes into the tow vehicle...

Most people use the Voyager system. (That is what the factory installs also)

Does that mean the camera is only powered if the clearance lights are on? Or is there a dedicated wire behind the center marker light. I guess you wouldn't want it draining power all the time unless you had a separate power switch, but I would like to be able to activate it without using running lights or reverse. Research, research, research

They are powered by the running lights.

There is no dedicated wire for the camera.

Most people tow with their headlights on (which usually activates clearance lights as well).

There is a cable, I traced it to the foam, eased those wires out and soldered power leads to camera. Sitting still I had 13.4 VDC it worked for a while when I got to Vegas it kept going on and off I checked voltage and it fluctuates. A loose connection scares me more than a short. Loose can arc and cause fire
