    Honda 10KW and 7KW generators

The shop I work at sells Honda generators and a couple of folks on another forum I'm a member of were curious about them and their "sound". So I made a you tube video of the 10KW units we sell mostly to a company that makes food trucks/trailers. Obviously those folks aren't exactly worried about noise - however, for a 10KW unit, the genset is relatively quiet. We get some units in to service that have waaaaay less capacity that will make your ears bleed. Here's the 10KW unit: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=bHu-Kkbl7bE

The next unit is Honda's largest inverter generator and personally my best for a number of reasons - quiet, runs a looooooong time on a tank of gas, inverter, ease of service, 7KW, etc. You can view it here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=69ZQWLCdzmg

If & when we're in the market for a genset, it will be the EU7000iS hands down since it can handle home duty as well as RV duty. BTW - we've got this R2D2 looking load tester machine in the shop that we can run a generator through its paces to see if it's out-putting what it should be both wattage and amperage. Quite a few name brand units will do what they advertise, but not much more - most don't meet spec. Every Honda we've hooked up to the load tester tested above its ratings.

    Yeah....I know, they're pricey. It's a Honda. Whadda expect??

...and this is why I bought a Honda EU2200i Companion instead of a Harbor Freight Predator.

I have the Honda EU7000is at my Colorado place. Being fuel injected it does good at high altitude without having to be re-jetted. My only complaint is that it needs a remote control option available from the factory.

I have the Honda EU3000is on the back of my 220rk. I added the Pinellas Products remote control.

How many generators do you need?
You have 3 posts at this forum.
The first two posts were both on August 15th.
In the first one you mention having a Yamaha 2000, in your second post you say you are running a Champion 3400, and now a month later you’re talking about a 7 or 10kw Honda?
    I’m confused.

If you are looking for a remote start option for the Honda EU3000 or EU7000, this works great, I've used both as I've had both generators:
