Collecting Refrigerator Data - If available

Sorry having a Gearloose moment and trying to collect some information. This may lead to a different thread in the future. (Super Insulation (Aerogel/VIP), do you really need a ton of fancy hardware to run your refrigerator on a battery?)

These are probably questions that most people don't know and probably don't care about (except for Rob maybe). We could add the results to the Library if that seems of value?

Answer any or all if you like.... I found my propane and power info inside my refer on the wall. You can edit your original post later if you want to add or change your data.

Gyro Gearloose (love the name), thank you for starting this thread.

    Comments:

    1) I have corrected center door seal (flapper). Good threads on fix elsewhere on this forum

    2) Unit has very poor (cooling) performance on both gas and electricity. typically refrigerator temp is 40 to 45 deg F when outside temp is over 65 F. Norcold says up to 43F is acceptable (no problem). Dealer says no problem found.

    3) External fans (3x) are controlled by a thermal switch in the condenser (upper section, left side). Per Norcold, fans should come on at 135° F and turn off at 115° F.

    4) Wall inside of trailer beside refrigerator "boiler" (on 310GK next to stove) runs hot. Measured wall temp up to 120° F with 70° deg trailer interior temps.

Please, keep this thread to facts and data (at least for now )
