Our 2150 RB has the 19ft awning and no middle brace. It is has slight bow in the center. haven't had it out camping yet. Where would I get one of these supports ?

My 2150RB has an 18 foot Dometic awning. Have never seen a 19 footer on a 2150RB, wonder if yours was added by your dealer? Is it a Solara or a Dometic?
Noticed that in a number of places an awning support is required/suggested for any awning 21 feet and over. My 18 footer seems to be running true and it has been in and out at least a couple of dozen times.Judy & Larry

Good catch, my mistake. its a Dometic 18 ft. but it does have a slight bow in the center if you sight down it like a rifle. a center brace couldn't hurt a thing. Also thinking about getting rid of the black on black awning and getting something lighter in color. it feels a lot hotter under it than the one on my Rockwood that was parked in the same spot.Last edited by Charger; 07-11-2019 at 04:53 PM.

Agree, extra support is always a good thing. Good point on the choice of black vs white/light. Seems to me I’ve seen replacement fabric for under $300 at camping world, paired with a $60 install, when the time comes,I too will look for something lighter.
I wonder if it is a colour coordination thing? Black stowed awning kinda blends in with the AC cover, graphics and trim around windows and hatches.Judy & Larry
