Hydraulic 6-pt leveling legs lube?
I've got the Hydraulic 6-pt leveling system on my 2018 Solitude. I'm getting a squeak when I retract the legs so I assume I need to spray the legs with some sort of lube. What is the recommended product?

Here is what the manual says: If the system squeaks or makes any noises it is permissible to apply a coat of lightweight oil or silicone lubricant spray to the hydraulic rod but remove any excess oil so dirt and debris do not build-up. DO NOT use grease.
Good luck!

Thanks, I was thinking about using Silicone Spray but wanted to make sure it would not damage the wiper seals.

Hi Ron. One of the pages suggested a dry silicone spray for protection, but the page I quoted mentioned squeaks so I would go with regular silicon spray or a light oil.

I would recommend the silicone spray over oil - it will attract less dust and dirt (silicone is what I use).

EVERY time I retract the cylinders I squirt mine with Zep 45 with PTFE then wipe down with a rag or a paper towel

Lippert states use dry silicone spray with PTFE.. I dont and have never used that.. I use motorcycle fork oil.. Wipe all six pistons down prior to retracting every time..
The fork oil will help those bottom wiper seals to not squeak, keep them pliable and they will last a long time.
My 6 point system is now going on its 11th year of service.. No leaks, no popping from stiction.. I also remvoe the reservoir fluid every 3 years and replace with new..
Mine uses AW32 hydraulic oil instead of ATF

I definitely think that would be the way to lube the pistons: wipe them down just before raising them. If you wipe them down with some oil or the like, they will attract dirt and grit, and if not wiped off before retracting, it could cause seal failure eventually.
