My manual crank hole has a plastic plug in the hole behind the street side propane tank.
My motor and gear looks similar to this, has a shaft for the manual handle at very right edge of the photo:

There's also the assemblies with the manual override on top of the motor/gears.

Manual Override Procedure - Top of Jack Motor
NOTE: Use of a 12V-18V cordless screw gun or pneumatic screw gun is acceptable to manually override the
jacks. Do not use an impact screw gun to perform the override procedure, as this may damage the motor.
If manual override is necessary on any jack in the system, there are two options. The following process will
describe how to use the top override. See Page 8 for the bottom override.
Tools needed: 3/8" drive ratchet and extension (no socket)
    1. Find the port on the top of the jack motor (Fig. 3).
    2. Remove the rubber plug (Fig. 3A).
    3. Insert the 3/8” drive into the port (Fig. 3B).
    4. Turn override until the jack extends or retracts to desired position (Fig. 3C

The manual crank porthole is located inside the propane cabinet on the same side as the Nautilus. Mine had a plastic cover which I had to punch out with a screwdriver and hammer from the front storage compartment.

I don't see anything that looks like a breaker in the front cabinet. If I could find it, is that something that could be reset to restore power to the switch for the legs?

Seems mine were the auto reset type. Don't think they had a tiny reset button. I've since rewired the individual circuits thru individual fuses.
Mine were behind a plastic cover on the front compartment wall.
The fuse in the photo I think was added by a repair tech after front legs motor problem.

Reached my February destination in Florida, called my Grand Design dealer. They sent me a new switch which took 2 minutes to install. Problem solved for now.

How challenging is it to install fuses on the lines?

Its not hard to do. There are several ways to do it. With this typehttps://www.amazon.com/MUYI-Inline-Holder-Waterproof-Pigtail/dp/B07G7YMJXW/ref=lp_15729671_1_14/143-9591338-2434362?s=automotive&ie=UTF8&qid=1549737763&sr=1-14 you put in line with good crimp connectors or my preference is use a fuse block so you have extra circuts available and everything is neat.

The Blue Sea is the one I used. I also used the fuses that light up when blown. Grand Design uses them in their fuse panel inside
