I put LED replacement bulbs into the clearance lights and did the Bargman LED brakelights and had no issues in my 2019 F350. No resistors were needed.

Last month I'd ordered some LEDs for the markers and running, forgot about them while working on other projects, probably it's just CRS.

I'll have to see how they work.

What LED bulbs did you use for the clearance lights? I would like to do the same to my 28BH.

    Thanks,

    Rob,

I finally had enough tailgating last minute drivers behind me and bought the same lights. It seems that other drivers do not pay much attention to the passing lane ending until I begin moving over, hopefully BRIGHT lights will get there attention. 1st thing I did was to see if you had made the change, you did and provided answers to my questions. Off I go.

    Thanks

    Hi Chuck,

This is “mod money” well spent. Check functionality before buttoning everything up. Some OE wire colours are reversed. Otherwise . . . an easy upgrade.

How challenging is it to fish wire down the back/exterior wall? I'm already thinking of adding additional brake/turn lamps, midway up the back. I've only had the unit two days, not really enough time to explore thoroughly.

I haven't done it - only fiddled up around the marker lights repairing a factory-botched camera circuit. However the back wall is a tight sandwich of gelcoat, aluminum, styrofoam, and luan (thin inside wallboard). Running wire a few inches from a marker light to the rear camera wasn't all that hard, but doing that over feet of distance would likely be challenging.

What one clever fellow here did (sorry, don't remember his username!) is run wire from underneath up behind the corner trim on the edge of the wall, and then from there a short distance in to the lights.

I am also interested doing the same exact thing. I don't want to remove the existing one.
