    Wow, we felt it!

This is RV related but not GD. We were jolted out of bed by a 6.1 earthquake at 3:20 this morning. The floors were undulating and pictures swaying on walls. Thankfully no damage as we are 60 miles from epicenter. We did, however, talk with friends at church this morning whose daughter & son-in-law had their 5th wheel partially jolted off the jack stand platforms. Fortunately the blocks partially moved with jacks so 5th wheel didn't topple. They managed to get 5th wheel hooked up to truck and got out of town! They aren't CA residents and their first time in an earthquake. They said it was terrifying. They are going to take 5th wheel in for check up tomorrow to make sure jacks/frame are okay. Crazy, scary stuff!

That earth quake cannot compare to the "fine" roadways Caltrans puts together... pull that 5th wheel down any of our "fine" highways at 55MPH.... I am fairly certain it sees much more jolting.

Jeremy - After hitting 28 states with our Reflection this summer (including California), I can assure you that Caltrans doesn't have a monopoly on terrible roads. New York and Massachussetts had their own thrill rides. We hit one pot hole in New York that launched all of our dishes onto the floor.

Sorry, I should have posted about it in my blog. She's doing great. Has a heart prob that can be treated with meds, so no surgery is required! Back to the gym on Monday.
