Squeaky Faucets...How Many Steps?

Step 5. Install new faucet
Step 6. Realize I have a problem waiting for squeak

I have got to ask... what is the maintenance plan for a faucet... any faucet much less an RV faucet. If it was a "lack of maintenance" where is the maintenance schedule or instructions? I bought my GD from LD and they never called me back from the parts department to the service dept Mgr. Of course sales did!

I asked for the maintenance schedule...never got an answer of course. Service department is a disaster at LD

X2. Thats what I did. Been over a year, and no squeaks. Took me longer to go the Home Depot for the grease, than the repair

Amazon - one day delivery - no squeaks after a 10 minute fix. Of course that's with no use on it yet. Testing went well.... My wife is going to be confused about why it no longer makes noise though. I wonder if I should tell her?

I did not tell my wife either. Took over a day and then I heard, “what did you do to the faucet squeak”? I told her nothing, but she didn’t believe me.
