Is this an issue with other FW
The slide out (refig-stove side) has a flex propane line that moves out with room. There is a flat 1 1/2" wide by 2 ' long nylon strap that is attached to propane line for support. It has snapped apart at both ends. I'm going to attempt to make a temporary fix,but we will need a new strap and GD should investigate if this is a common problem for all FW. The strap appears to be too brittle and doesn't flex enough. Our FW is 2015 Reflection. The slide has only been used half dozen times. Ken

On our 337 one end has almost broken off, the end on the inside appeared to be fine. It is at the dealer now to be replaced. Our slide has cycled in and out many times.

It is a pretty common issue on 5th wheels and trailers that use the plastic holders.

Hi Jim----------------Used the same method on the 1 1/2 " strap that snapped on our 303. Zip ties are a great product. Always carry them when we travel. The picture of your fix was good. Will be good for others who may have the same problem. Contacted GD. A new strap is being shipped. A good day to you. Ken

I climbed under my 293RES this weekend and found the kitchen slide flex-strap broken. I've only driven the RV home from the dealer so the slide use has been limited to showings at the dealer. This is essentially broken from the factory. I will notify the dealer and request a replacement part, but prefer to replace all the straps with something more durable. Do any owners know of a stronger alternate to the plastic flex-stap (e.g. spring steel)?

Like hunter said...and if you explore other RV forums you'll find the same thing....it appears to be an industry wide issue. Ours have broken, and have been replaced. I haven't checked lately, but I wouldn't be surprise to find them cracked once again.
Hopefully, someone has an answer to Wrangler's question. I too would like to know of a stronger alternative.Renee & Bill -- Central Louisiana

Hi @Knshook,
This was brought to our attention in a previous post (located at http://www.mygrandrv.com/for...highlight=flex). We continue to work with our supplier on this issue. At this point, they suspect a limited number of "Flex-Guard" straps contained "brittle" plastic and they are analyzing failed straps.
Best regards,
