    Hitch for 2970RL

    Hi all,
I purchased a 2970RL in Feb and it’s coming my way next month (first rv). Lots of question for sure. My first big job is to purchase a weight distribution hitch. I’ve done some research and like the system from Andersen (https://andersenhitches.com/Catalog/...e-wd-kits.aspx). Anybody out there using the hitch? If so what model fits the 2970RL?

    Thanks,
    Barry

I am not a fan of aluminum shanks and ball mounts. Search failures.

I used something like this when I had a tt https://www.etrailer.com/Weight-Dist...rt/C17062.html
My dad had this https://www.etrailer.com/Weight-Dist...e/RP66084.html with his 31' Airstream

    No issues with either

Blue Ox. I use 2k lb bars. I tow the 297's big brother, the 315RLTS. Have not experienced sway.

I use the Reese Straightline with 1500 lb bars. Pulls my Reflection 297 which is nearly identical to yours without any sway. Had heavy cross winds that pushed us around quite a bit but no sway.
