Awning will not retract on Reflection 303

The awning on my Reflection 303 will not retract, the motor will run but the awning just stays in place fully extended. I got on a ladder and attempted to help the awning retract, it worked for a few feet and then the awning just seemed to fall out (extended fully). I need help on how to get the awning retracted so I can take it to the dealer, has any others had this same issue?

I found the issue, the screw in the end cap broke. I have another question, while the awning is extended is there any type of tension on the awning?

I don't think anyone will be monitoring the tech section over the long weekend.

The only tension on the awning is from the gas struts on the awning arms wanting to fully extend them.
