Andy,
Did you place the glass over the wood or replace the glass with the wood entirely. I like the two tone wood look of your table. Great job.

Thank you. I replaced the glass with a piece of 3/16 ash ply. Stained it first then glued it down with construction adhesive and finished with 4 coats of gloss urethane. About a 2 day process. Wife LOVES it.

The thing my wife is concerned about is you have pictures under the glass and something is spilled your pictures could be damaged.
