    2nd Air conditioner

    I am sure this has been ask many times before, but here I go. We have a 337rls with one air conditioning unit. We are pretty sure we will add the 2nd one. I would like to know what brand unit others have used.

    Ours came with a Dometic, but we installed the Coleman as the second unit. At the rally in Elkhart last fall we noticed most of the demo units had colemans and they seemed much quieter so we went that route.

    I agree. We had Dometic in our Reflection and now the Colemans. Coleman is definitely quieter.

    Wow, those Dometics must be really loud. My 3 Coleman Airxcels are anything but quiet.

    Mine are Coleman Mach units. I'm not sure how they compare to yours. I'm sitting with one running on high cool right now and it measures 55 db.
    And yup , the Dometics are pretty annoying.

    Coleman Mach's in my 375 as well. They are very quiet, night and day difference from the Dometics in my last Reflection. The two Colemans will turn mine into a meat locker on a warm day lol.

    We have the 2 Dometics that came factory installed. I don't have anything to compare to but they are pretty loud. The nice thing is we run them both to cool it down, then if we are in the living room area we shut that one off and just keep the bedroom one going. When we go to bed we just run the living room one and its quiet in the bedroom.

    We do what Boomer mentioned. The one in our bedroom is really noisy.

    We installed the Dometic Penguin II, low profile. Haven’t been able to use it yet. This weekend will be our first trip with it.
