Need help selecting CB antenna and mounting location on tow vehicle

Anybody install a CB antenna in the front of their tow vehicle. I have a K40 magnetic mount CB antenna that I put on the center of my cab's roof. I don't ant to put the antenna's on the truck box at the rear of my cab because I have a short bed, a tonneau cover, and carry 2 kayaks on my roof. I would like to replace the mag mount with a properly grounded antenna at the hood lip, on the front bumper, or somewhere else out of the way of my kayaks.

Any suggestions for the mounting location on my RAM 3500 and type of antenna that I should buy? A K20, a Firestick, etc? What length and wattage?

I have always noticed lots of antenna mounting brackets at amateur radio shows. You might find a hood mount online.

Dave drilled a hole in the roof of our truck for ham radio antenna.

We carry kayaks on our roof so I'm not sure if that impedes the signal or as practical. Also worried about leaking from the roof.
