Why 3 keys???

Ok so I just got my new 2019 2800bh. Love this trailer but my biggest complaint is why do I have 3 keys. My Jayco had 1 key for the whole trailer. Do anyone else feel my pain.

Plenty here feel the pain. RV locks has a simple solution to change all locks to be keyed the same as the entrance door. Not sure why the factory does not do this in the beginning , would be nice.

After feedback from owners a few years ago, GDRV began building Solitudes and Momentums with one key so all locks are keyed alike. I thought they had done this with Reflections too along with Imagines and Transcends......apparently not.

It must be a cost item (even though small I suspect) but this item along with many other upgrades that could be done would impact product cost competitiveness and possibly other areas.

As well as multiple keys . . . you will find that the compartment keys fit most of the trailers in the park and vice versa! RV Locks http://www.rvlocksandmore.com offers an affordable solution to key all your locks to match the entrance door (as noted earlier by Brian.)

Our new 2018 374TH-R has 1 key for everything.
Our 2016 Momentum had 4 keys. 1 for the gas station and front generator compartment. 1 for the garage door. 1 for the 2 deadbolts on both doors and 1 for the doors. The locksmith was able to cut the deadbolt door keys and door keys to fit both the deadbolts and the doors.

I only have two. 1 for the door and the other for everything else. Then again 3/4 of the RV population probably has the key that opens everything but the entry door!!
