Fridge vents - prevent bugs from getting in
So we just picked up our new 367BHS and love it, however there's a few things i have questions about, like these new vents for the fridge. They normally sell mesh covers for the center vents but the sides of the vents aren't blocked, so if i put a mesh cover on the center w/o the sides it's pointless. What are people doing for this? The dealership had no ideas, other than make your own and i'm to the point i just would like to save time vs same a couple bucks on this one.

Trim down the regular screen material that goes in the middle and place in the end vents. Secure with small zip ties

Again on my other rig I simply punched the screen thru the tabs/clips that hold the vent door in place.
Hot glue would work too.
Also for the water heater vents i bought cupped screens that R held in place with small springs.2018 F-350 6.7L diesel SRW CCSB Lariat with OEM rolling tonneau

Are the dimensions the same as the old style? Could buy new covers? and put the screens in them. I took my screens out just today. I was having issues keeping the fridge cold during warm weather so I zip tied fans to the grill to help exhaust the hot air & will run wiring tomorrow. I'm thinking the screens hinder airflow (yea I know, I'm dangerous when I'm thinkin')

A window screen on our homes reduce airflow 50%. That is why they are removed when firefighters ventilate structures.

Good info to take into account, especially for the fridge vents. Lots of threads on here about this issue. Seems folks in the south have more problems. Some folks spray periodically, some folks attach pet flea/tick collars. Early on, I tried using small zip ties to attach nylon screen, but the zips, tight as I pulled them, slid along the pieces of plastic I attached them to. Big gaps-screen ineffective.

At the Tenn. rally JD from GD and their mechanic said not to put screens on the fridge vents. They were very adamant about this. They said the screens restrict the airflow too much and will keep the fridges from operating as well as they should. There were other things that are effective that can be done that wont interfere with the fridge operation. JD and the mechanic recommended cow ear tags from somewhere like tractor supply will work well.

One other thing important that JD had to say about the screens on your fridge vent is that if you have a problem with your fridge and call Dometic one of the first questions they will ask you is if you have a screen on your fridge vent. If you answer yes that will void your warranty.
