Got it fixed through warranty and it was our only fix that needed to be done. Yah! It was a bunch of glue and plastic balled up so was flushed out and it works fine now. It's all put away for winter so hopefully all is good in the spring.

I'll have to try mine again and see if it is really fixed. Put it in the barn due to cold weather so I'll check it when I get a chance.

I had that problem with my previous trailer. I promptly installed a Thetford valve that simply attaches in place of the cap, and the cap attaches to it. No more surprises when you remove the cap! It will also work for equalizing the Greg tanks as others have posted about on the forum. It was the first thing I kept and installed on our 337rls.

Do you have a source and/or model number for the Thetford valve?

    Thanks much,

    Jim

Is this what you are looking for: campingworld.com Twist on valve catalog item # 27868 I keep one of these in my parts box cause you never know when you will need it.

Perfect! Since my gray valve is stuck open, this will help until I can get it to the dealer to get it fixed.

ID:	1092. Sorry for the delay Jim, I don't see the part #, but here is a pic of the valve. I picked up a spare a while back at a garage sale! I leave mine on all the time. On the 337, I have it mounted so the handle is pointed up just behind the metal body panel where it is protected yet still has access to reach behind to pull the handle. Seems like they are around $30. Well worth preventing a black water bath! We used our other trailer with it for half a summer before I had time to remove the underbelly and repair a bad cable on the valve.

If you get the flush king valve kit it will do the same thing. Then you can back flush your gray tanks too.

Thanks for the info. I have seen those around and it sounds like a good fix if the repair shop did not get it fixed.
