    Curt 13703 Hitch Installation

Finally got serious about doing this and got it done. The bumper has to be removed for clearance so you have to be serious before you start! I used a saw zall and took about 10 blades. The underbelly has to be removed and the stabilizer jacks have to be relocated (I haven’t completed this yet). So I will try to add pics and let me know if you have any questions or want better pics of anything. Also, because you have to remove the bumper, you also have to put the spare somewhere else. I am still deciding where I will put mine. Click image for larger version.

Oh and I should also say before someone says it, I know all about how this could void my “warranty” . The thing is, I have learned how useless the warranty is on these things, so it is a non-issue for me. Anyhow this is really meant to help anyone that is or has been considering this upgrade. Probably not for everyone and you are doing it at your own discretion.

I’m in the middle of the same deal on my 303RLS. Very similar findings other than the spare. It took my bumper off by removing the brackets from the I-beams which was much more difficult than I expected.

ID:	19275I added a pvc fence post to carry mainly fishing poles, but you could use it for something else if you wanted. I can list the square U-bolts part number if interested. I am hoping my ground clearance is not compromised! I also got my stabilizer jacks installed. BTW adding pics is a PIA!
