Peak under the Coroplast - 315RLTS

Unlike a certain Blue Chief I took pictures when I dropped part of the coroplast today while figuring out where to run 6/3 electrical wire for my inverter project.

Key takeaway--the tanks shown here are all in front of the axles. That translates to tongue weight (payload) on your TV.

While not the best, these shots give you an idea of what's under the coroplast. Note that the second gray tank (kitchen) is not shown as I didn't need to go back that far for my current project.

I'm surprised to see there is no insulation under there. Any plans or room to add some?

Not at the moment. I do plan to hit all of the gaps in the floor and around the edges when it is time to seal up the coroplast again. Two specific spots jump to mind: the huge hole under the island (for the water pipes) and the hole behind the fireplace for electrical wires.

Good plan. I suppose the insulation isnt a huge priority if you dont plan on being in cold places for the winter. Either way, spring is here so you have some time.

You’re my hero Howard. Everything I’m planning to do to my 315rlts you’re doing. Going to make my job a whole lot easier once I get started. Now just need to know where to bring the wires for solar down from roof. Thanks for all the great information!

I'm don't know about the Reflections, but on our Solitude there is a sealed over plate in the roof covering a pre-installed passageway for solar. It looks like a small patch job , maybe 3-4" square. Best I recall from location it probably drops thru the bathroom / bedroom common wall.

I see what you mean about the hole under the island. I had to remove the cover around the pipes so I could disconnect the water lines to remove the faucet and couldn't believe the size of the hole for the pipes. It's about a 6" hole for just the drain and 2 water pipes.
