Pin Box

I was thinking of changing my pin box to a different pin box, like fifth airborne that has a shock and airbag in it. Has anyone changed theirs, and do you like it? Also, which pin box do we have?

I have tried both the Airborne and the Trail Air. We liked the Trail Air better! for us it gave a smother ride and my two oldest boys ride in our Toy Hauler said it was so much smother. I have not bought our new Momentum yet we are waiting to see what new floor plans they come out with. I will be changing my pin box on our new Momentum if it does not have a air pin box on it when it comes in.

You have passengers riding in your rig while towing?!?! Wow! Are there states where that's legal?

Yes it is legal in California only in 5th wheels and must have communication between both units and cell phones do not count.

I believe that it is legal in WI too.

Loaded, that is good to know, if the trail air that my unit has is better then the airborne then I will stick with what I have.

From the factory the Momentum comes with the Rotaflex© Flexible Pinbox made by Trail Air.

The Air pin box is the one I had on my 53" Weekend Warrior Toy Hauler.
