Purchased our Reflection June 2014 337RLS - thanks to everyone here we also found the straps are breaking on all slides. Hopefully by now, GD has new improved straps to offer... if not we'll try some of the great ideas posted here! Thankyou.. Anyone having issues with the cold return air under the hutch? We notice on the colder days that there is quite a 'draft' that comes into the living room from that spot. We pulled out the drawer to find the wall behind has a large cut out from it and you can see the furnace & hot water tank. WE thought 'cold air return' should be ducted into the furnace but it isn't. Anyone know about how this is suppose to work?

    Hi @RobandKatToms,

The air intake for the furnace is a "direct draw" configuration so the air is pulled from the space around the furnace, which is why cold air returns direct feed this space.

    Best regards,
    ~ Janice

Just noticed mine was broken as well, will ask Jerry to send one when I figure out what I need for the actuator replacement.

I have tried to attach a picture for reference.

Just a heads up for anybody using hinges for the repair. Make sure you use NRP (non-removable pin) hinges so that pin doesn't drop out driving down the road. NRP a hinges have a tiny set screw thru the hinge body into the pin itself. They are intended to prevent someone from popping the pin out and lifting a locked door off but wood be perfect in this application. Stainless steel would also be best to prevent rust.

Just to let everyone know JD and Jerry are shipping me out a new strap with the actuator (see tech corner for the actuator story). I will let everyone know if the new strap performs any better as we push through the camping season. From what I have read it seems the originals were just made of bad materials.
