    Momentum 3 seasons doors

Hi Emily... I’m looking at ordering a new 399th soon.... I wanted to know if the 2020 model has the “hard plastic or glass” in the 3 seasons door. Or is it just the “soft plastic” that you velcro to the door frames?

My apologies but Grand Design , at this time , is not monitoring this site. You will get better answers to your question at a local dealer or contacting GD directly. As far as I know there are no 2020 399th owners here yet.

I see this is your first post so welcome to the forum. I will move this thread to the Momentum section and hopes of getting you an answer.

Another option is to contact the couple ( can’t remember their names or the name of their YouTube channel) that has a momentum 354. They were at the 2019 RVXpo and apparently have seen some of the new designs for 2020. They might be able to at least share that. Maybe Brian knows their name.
Search momentum 354 on YouTube. You’ll see them on there. Good luck and let us know what they say ( if you can lol) don’t wanna get them in trouble.

I think "Changing Lanes" is the You Tube channel that was mentioned above.

I know that channel but I don’t think that’s the right one. There not in a 354 like me. WAIT. THATS IT. the channel is THE FREEDOM THEORY.
They were recently at an RV expo and mentioned some new GD designs.

At least the one I said is a Momentum, couldn't remember which one they had.

Hopefully they can answer the question about the 3 season doors. I suppose a call to GD could potentially answer the question too.

We just ordered a 2020 Momentum with the "Gen 2 Screen Door" that the dealer told us would come with the hard plastic on the door. Not the soft folding plastic of the last generation. It is not supposed to come in until June though. I'll post when it comes in.

Hey just so you know I received my 2020 Momentum 320 a few weeks back and the patio door option is glass and screens. The glass slides up like a storm door and the screens are permeant.
