369RL cant get water to gravity feed to holding tank

This weekend is the first weekend that I have needed to add fresh water while out camping. I hooked up my water jugs and had the selector switch on gravity but it WILL NOT let me put water into the tank. We even tried forcing it in by pushing on the water jug. The crazy part is I can still fill my tank with the city hose.

You have to use the pump to suck it from your jug to the holding tank.

You can't gravity feed to fill the FW tank...you use the FW pump suction to transfer from the tote/jug to the tank. There should be a valve position diagram on the back of the docking station door showing the positions of the Kantleak valves and tank access valve. To transfer you set the one Kantleak valve to sanitize/winterize (12 o'clock position), and the tank access valve to open (3 o'clock) and turn on the pump. Of course you'll need a hose to use for a suction line in the tote. It should transfer a 6 USG tote in 2.5 to 3 minutes...lots of time to plan the rest of your day!

    Thanks Dave,
Mine is a very early 369RL. No diagrams and can't even get a wiring schematic for it...at least last time I asked. Any chance you could send me a picture of the diagram off the door?

I just looked and I don't have a tank access valve. I have the winterize valve and 1 other for city or gravity feed. Is that the tank access valve?

Sorry, but I'm not able to enlarge that enough to be able to read it. It's obviously a different set-up...perhaps another Solitude owner can chime in.
