7 way connector 12 volt power

Noticed today trailer battery was at 11.2v Forgot to kill the power I guess so all the draw killed it. Plug it into the truck connector, no change???? Not enough power to work the level up gear. Checked the junction box inside the pin box and there's 13.4v there when plugged into the truck while it's running. Power does not seem to be getting to the inverter. Thoughts?

What is the voltage at the RV battery terminals with the truck running? A state of charge chart indicates that 11.2V is very low. 10.5V is 0%, while 11.3 is 10% (12.6V+ is considered 100%). You might be pulling so much current charging the batteries that you don't have enough to run the level up. I'll bet if you let it charge up for a while, you'll be okay.

That could well be but would be different from any other trailer we've had where when you plug the truck in to the trailer, we had whatever the battery voltage of the truck batteries. Perhaps this inverter is different. In hindsight and in support of this possibility, I did notice that when I plug the truck into the trlr with almost dead battery, the load on the engine changed as though the alternator was working a bit harder. Anyway, I'll give that a try. I've not checked the voltage at the trlr battery with truck running, but will.

    Thanks.
