Yes... I thought about it for a couple of seconds... and figured that bluetooth was good enough for the RV... I did "splurge" and get the monitor... thought I would mount that in the cabinet where all the controls/switches are... so I could just check it without going to the phone or tablet...

We did the same thing. I have the app on my phone, but the monitor is nice. We put it in the same cabinet as the other controls using a Command Strip. No screw holes.

I use the RV Whisper unit, https://rvwhisper.com, It gives me WiFi access to monitor my Mopeka propane sensors, temp in the RV, refrigerator and freezer, battery charge, and shore power with my Hughes Watchdog. The app isn’t the best API, but it works well.

WOW!!! That is really a nice setup... I really like it... esp the various 'things' I could monitor... refrig/freezer temp, coach temp, shore power, doors, motion inside the coach, etc etc... I really like that idea... and will put on my list for exploring in more detail... thanks tons for the tip!

Just discovered this product last night. I was thinking about the "Halo" ring for bottom of tank instead of the spacers. How do you like the "Halos"? Are they working out for you? thanks.

I use the Halos and they are great. Provide additional height for the tanks and prevent rust rings from the tanks.

Went from the little aluminum clips to the halo. Best decision I made! Two of the clips broke and a third was on the way to breaking. Ordered the halo for each tank and now I don't have to worry about the clips.

You guys cost me money this week. I’m amazed how well they work.

I now have 6 sensors feeding my iPhone app and 2 of them feeding the mounted display in the RV.

2 sensors and display in the RV
1 sensor icon the tank that feeds my LP converted Honda generator
1 sensor on the tank for our gas gril at home
1 sensor on the gas grill at the vacation cabin
    1 spare sensor

Now I know my RV right tank is full and my Left tank is 50%

It sounds like they may have gotten their act together. I bought a couple of these when they first came out several years ago and was totally underwhelmed. Readings were sporadic and never
seemed to be consistent. I finally just pitched them due to the frustration level. I may have to give them another try...maybe.
