I did not think about the rear of the trailer jumping on the bumps , good catch. Under the front bed would be the place then.

Thanks to everyone for their help. For now it looks like there are two basic devices for locking firearms within the RV. One is the typical 'Stack On' lock box available at very reasonable prices, or finding something like a contractor's JOBOX possible placing it under the master bed.
There are other options such as bed safes for the TV. They are fully weather proof and are tough. Some law enforcement officers have used these before. I have seen them at our matches, and have the advantage of providing secure storage without the need to bring the RV along as your "gun cart."
