Who installed 2nd a/c

Hello All.

I have an 303 on order, can't wait till it's here We ordered a 2nd a/c and I was told by the dealer that it
would be installed by the factory. I have my douths about that. Does anyone on the forum have a
2nd a/c that was installed by the factory? If so what model did they install.

Our 303RLS came with a 16K BTU Dometic installed at the factory and I had the dealer install the 2nd A/C. I paid a little extra and got the Dometic Low Profile (ducted) 13K BTU. Dealer did an excellent install on the second unit.

Thanks for your reply. I think the dealer is full of prunes,it's going to be a long 2 years. Hope everything is ok when it gets here.

Not sure about the Reflection but our Solitude came from he factory with the bedroom air installed. It's the low profile 13.5K ducted Dometic.

I called Grand Design and they said that they do not install 2nd a/c units on Reflection model units.
I seems that will do it on Solitude units. That is one plus point for the dealer. He might have not known
about the policy between the models.

I thought my 303 had a 16K air conditioner. When I was on the roof the other day I saw written on the air unit 13.5. Talked to GD and yes it's a 13.5K unit Equivilent to a 16K unit. The way they wrote it in the Brochure sure is tricky! I had my dealer install a second air unit in my bedroom before delivery.

We have a Solitude. It came with the 2nd air installed. I'm sure your dealer will install one for you. Did you buy from Primeaux, Charlie?

We almost bought from Primeaux ,but when I told the salesmen at Dixie I was going there. Magic happend.
I was able to get a 2015 for the same price as Primeaux was selling a 20014. The dealer is installing the
2nd air. Hope to see you in the campground. Charlie....
