Sealant
I’m installing 2 vent covers. I assume I should seal around the base to keep water from seeping in. What sealant is recommended?
Thanks.

Vent covers do not get attached to the roof. They get bolted to the flange of the vent. No sealant required.

I used a permatex gasket maker in the screws that hold the cover to the flange. Probably not needed, but made me feel better.
