    Momentum 351M vs 395M

At some point, I'd like to upgrade from our Reflection to a Momentum 351M or 395M. I like the length of the 351M, but love the living area layout of the 395M for the family (we have two youngsters). For those with a family of 4, how do you like the 351M? Anyone have the small table option in the slide-out, as most seem to have the long couch. For those with the 395M - any issues with the added length like finding spots? How usable is the garage for toys with the bathroom that jets out? How about towing with a 3-axle vs 2-axle. We aren't in any hurry, and need to upgrade the truck first to a DRW. Thanks in advance!

We have a 351M. We opted for the 2 seats and dinette. The dinette is small, with 2 of us at the table it is too tight, it works good if we eat one at a time but together we are bumping elbows.

Having the 2 seats on the couch/love seat is pretty much the same problem, it is not very wide and we often bump elbows while sitting to watch tv. We are not big people either, I am 5'11" and 200 lbs, my wife is 5'2" and 115lbs.

If I had it to do over I would go with the 4 seat couch and just use the island for eating, we use the island for eating quite often as it is, we are looking to get better stools than the ones that came with the trailer.

    Love the 395.

Kids bedroom is back there. I'll change out the L shaped sofa at some point

Just my $.02, but I would suggest the 395 for the room, but mainly for the third axle. I have always been a big believer of more capacity is better than just enough.

We have a 394 (same exact trailer as the 395, only no 1/2 bath in the rear) and we love having the dinette that is for four, even though it's just the two of us. In your case, having for people, I would think that would be a high priority also....plus the 394/395 has two separate sofas, one on each side. And let's face it, those kids won't be getting smaller as they grow!

And honestly, I don't think there would be a significant difference between a 39' trailer and a 42' trailer as far as finding a spot at campgrounds. I also agree about the triple axle vs. the tandem axle. The 351M has two 7K axles, yet a GVWR of 16,800 lbs...after subtracting the pin weight, that doesn't leave very much wiggle room per axle total capacity

We love our 351M, but for a family of 4, I would recommend the 395.
