I have endless pictures of "dry camping" in reserved campsites but I'm betting DMB was referring more to camping in non-designated wilderness camps.
Loved that trip Paul! But I didn't like the fact that you out fished me, day after day...

I'd love to do the Crowley trip with you sometime.

And generously sharing his trout since I was skunked.

We spend most of our camping time boondocking, so we have many pictures. Here are a few from around the country this past year.
From our campsite on Lake Superior. Note the camper is in the shade, solar panels are in the sun.

Regarding Rincon on the CA coast
Key is to get there before the guy in front of you arrives, then you have plenty of room.
Beautiful spot, lots of friendly folks, dolphins go by on a regular basis.
Highlight is a short walk south to Faria Beach Park for homemade breakfast treats.
Warning signs abound regarding generator theft, make sure you don't leave it outside.
For retired military folks, Naval Base Port Hueneme is a short drive south with a great NEX & commissary.

    Where is this Kevin?

If that's home, we'll need to come by for a visit while we're in Washington in July!

    Hi Ed,
The location is just past mile marker 38 on the Coeur d'Alene River Rd which means it's 38 miles from the Kingston exit off I90. Easy drive even for large trailers. In the summer it's best to go mid week to get the best spots. Let me know when you are going. I can take off on short notice It's about 75 miles from my house. There are hundreds of miles of off road areas to ride for those that like that.

    Kevin,

Those pics up near Kit Price, Devils Elbow, Big Hank? That's a beautiful drive.

Getting ready to head to Elk River, ID for a few days. Gotta love living in the NW.

    Hi Brian,
The camping spot was just past Devil's Elbow, very close to the turn off for Fern Falls. I was unable to get to the falls because of snow (If I was by myself I would've easily made it in the SxS but the DW was too nervous)

I'm going up to the Middle Fork of Le Cleric Creek tomorrow (about 10 miles south of Sullivan lake).

    Regards,
    Kevin
