Found same on ours after purchase. The tech we use advised us to install new hubs, seals and brakes vs rebuild. At the time is was cost effective vs rebuilding fouled hubs(I'm not a mechanic so labor is a real cost)

Well - - - went toe to toe with Lippert on the phone today. At first they said they would not participate because its out of warranty and I'm the second owner........I asked for a Supervisor. Then they hung up. The supervisor called back (!) and reiterated their denial. I explained your failed seals which have been plaguing all of us in the RV community with Lippert axles are the cause of all of my brakes to be soaked with your crappy, thin grease. And the seal doesn't care if I'm the first or the tenth owner-its still a mechanical failure !!!!!
They've offered to pay for the parts.
Fair enough. I thanked them for the consideration, and they thanked me for being a customer.
Awaiting a check from Lippert now...........
