I just fly regular planes. I did get a lesson once in a sailplane when visiting Tehachapi Ca one time. Unbelievably peaceful.

Motorcycle touring/camping. Fishing, woodworking, wrenching just about anything. Restoring old stuff. I have a 75 yr old fire extinguisher I turned into a lamp. I also did a restoration to a WW2 Dive helmet. I am also into target shooting old guns. I have a 150 yr old musket I built. I also have a couple reproduction black powder guns. I do some gardening (vegitables mostly) I love to draw, write, travel, cook you name it.

    Oh boy play time....

Flying, Single engine, VFR, had to give up flying when I bought a boat, just not enough money for both. I have .5 hour dual instruction in the Goodyear Blimp.

The boat led to fishing, then to cruising, then to Scuba Diving.

Touring and camping via motorcycles has been a big part of my life since "78. Somewhere around 400,000 miles on the street watching out for cars and trucks trying to get me. I still enjoy the ride, but am cheating a bit these days. The Solitude is becoming a base-camp and the roads surrounding the rig become my routes. I'm headed back over to NE Oregon again in late May for a long week of riding the roads in that area. There is so little traffic over there, I might not see a car for an hour or so. KEN

What are you riding these days?

We will be volunteering at Cove Palisades State Park north of Redmond, OR for the month of May as the flat water kayak guides. We will probably be in the Crooked River Campground. Give us a shout if you come through.
