Finally got around to the CAT scale and here are my weights in Kgs...
Unloaded truck: Front axle -2220 Rear axle - 1580
Loaded truck and fifth wheel - Front axle - 2220 Rear axle - 3040 Fifth Wheel axle - 5280
Pin weight = 3040 - 1480 = 1560 kgs or 3432 #s .
Seels heavy for this truck doesn't it?

Hi Paul
I had 4 collapsible chairs, 2 large mats, BBQ, 20 lb propane tank, propane firepit, foldable 6 foot plastic table and some smaller lighter items. Water tank was 1/3 full and black tank 2/3 full.
2 adults (350 lbs), 2 dogs (50lbs) full tank of fuel.
The truck seems to pull fine on a flat road but struggles on any sort of incline. Speed drops from 60 mph to about 30 mph on anything greater than 4% - 6% gradeLast edited by Barney065; 06-03-2019 at 07:04 AM.

That doesn't seem like a lot in the front.
Now you have me concerned about our 2005 350 and the 310GK - my budget may have just increased substantially.
Besides the tire sticker - I can't imagine there is any differences between a CA vs US 6.0 350. (BTW - mines a SRW, Crewcab, 4x4).
Let me/us know how things go.

Paul I also have the generator in the front which might add another 220#s. We are looking at updating the truck to either a 2019 F350 Crew Cab DRW or the 2019 RAM HD Mega Cab DRW as we also think this will provide the extra room for cages when transporting the 3 dogs. these trucks both might seem like overkill when it comes to towing this fifth wheel but peace of mind, safety and comfort are what we are after when traveling for extended periods of time throughout the mountains.
