Fender / skirt screws
We have a lot of screws that r backing out from the fender flairs and the skirting around the perimeter of our coach. Other than putting clear silicon does anyone have any suggestions on what to use to stop screws from backing out and dropping off on roadways? The coach had some screws broken off from behind some trim on slides that also backed out....
Thanks for any help with this...

I can't help with the screws that are broken off behind, but for those that still have a behind here's what we did. I didn't want to see glops of silicone, clear or not, on the front side, so I put the silicone on the back. A nice dollop that is well adhered to both the back of the skirt and the screw shaft solved the problem for us. Not sure how I'll get them out should I need to, but I'm sure I could find a way.

A couple of months ago I lost the fender skirt............but every screw was still in there tight.
Now I notice cracks in the fender skirt on the other side.SOLD my 2017 Momentum 376TH being pulled by a 2014 Ford F-350 Lariat, FX-4, Crew Cab, Longbed, Dually. Not pulling the 5er, catch me on my 2013 CVO Harley Ultra Classic.

Thanks everyone with your responses. I contacted GD and they r sending out replacement screws and will address this issue. I believe I'll b using sum sort of silicone adhesive on backside. I know from past experiences that loctite and plastic is not a good combo, but also might try loctite on skirting. Thanks again for the responses!

I’ve found that using small machine screws with a lock washer and a nut behind works the best. And, since the existing screw heads were dark brown- black in color, I used a large black magic marker to color the new heads prior to installing.

I got a black spray paint that has a primer in it. They look just like the OEM screws.
I never lost any screws. All of my screws were totally secure....just the fender skirt peeled away at some point during the drive. And I've put maybe another thousand miles on it since then and I've noticed that the fender skirt on the other side is starting to crack around the screws. But all the screws are still tight.SOLD my 2017 Momentum 376TH being pulled by a 2014 Ford F-350 Lariat, FX-4, Crew Cab, Longbed, Dually.
