That's a very nice generator.
Unfortunately my grill has a regulator on the side that also controls the temperature of the grill.I don't think that there is a way to remove it.
My grill is just like this one sold on amazon.

The regulator on the grill will need to be removed to use the low pressure connection. If you run low pressure regulated gas through a second regulator (the one on the grill) you won't get enough gas flow to burn. There are how to articles out there which should be easy to find with a search.

Okay...if I remove the regulator there is no way to adjust the flame on the grill. Every small grill that I've ever seen that uses those small 1 lb propane tanks also has a regulator. Using this quick connect doesn't seem like a viable replacement for those PITA 1 lb propane tanks.
Does anyone have or know of a small grill that works in this configuration?

I just did a search for RV grilles on Amazon. This one came up first: https://www.amazon.com/Camco-Olympia...gateway&sr=8-3
At first, your grill looks like mine but after a second look there are a few differences.
Here's my actual grill: https://www.etrailer.com/Grills-and-...77-000091.html This grill plugs directly into the propane outlet on the back of my trailer. No modifications needed.Last edited by pjmjunior; 05-23-2019 at 04:44 PM.

We have a Coleman Voyager which works fine for us.
There are conversion kits out there for several other makes and models of grills so if you already have a grill you might want to search for low pressure conversion kits for your make of grill.2022 Reflection150 226RK

Do a you tube search. It may be possible to remove the regulator from your grill and still control the gas flow.

Hi BeerBrewer,
You may think that your regulator and temp controller are one unit, but as you begin to disconnect the components, you’ll see the connection for the regulator (a nut connected to regulator, male threaded part on controller). Pay attention to size of male threaded connection, as one end of the hose you choose must attach there, while the other end of the hose needs the male quick connect (which seems to be more standard 1/4” compressor-type fitting). On our original Q grill, the regulator and controller were connected behind plastic housing that didn’t allow access to the bolt until that whole assembly was removed. A hose claiming to connect to Q was offered on Amazon, but the nut was too large. We found an adapter at Home Depot for $4. After all that, we’re thinking we don’t really want to lug the heavy Q around in our travels. But at least now we can sell a working product to someone who’s seasonal somewhere and wouldn’t mind the weight.
Also, the Weber “expert” at the local hardware store had no problem telling us that the grill would work just as well with two regulators connected (wrong), so don’t expect any help from folks who know nothing about RVs.

Back to your water issue - the valve controlling city and fresh can sometimes leak, allowing city water to slowly fill your fresh tank. Usually it is due to an o-ring that is mis-seated. Moving the lever back and forth several times can usually reseat it. Note, do NOT flip the lever if there is any water pressure in the lines - turn off the water, and open a tap, first. That seems to be what causes the o-ring to mis-seat!
Yep, it certainly looks like 2 gray tanks and one valve. Then again, it may be two drain lines going to one tank! All you can do is go camping, and check the idiot lights. If one set never goes above empty....
Or call/email Grand Design - they are excellent at answering these kinds of questions.Last edited by sande005; 05-24-2019 at 09:24 AM.

Also to help with not unseating the seal always turn the dials in one direction only.
