Pilot light won't stay lit while cooking

We just took delivery on a 379FL and are having issues keeping the oven on while baking. We lit one of the stove burners for a minute or so, then lit the oven pilot light and turned on the oven. The pilot light consistently goes out once the oven is up to temp. Any suggestions on what we might need to adjust? Thank!

I'm guessing probably the thermocouple needs to be adjusted closer to the pilot light. The thermocouple being hot is what keeps the gas flowing.

Definately a warranty issue. Unfortunately you should take it back to the dealership before attempting any adjustments yourself.

Thanks - We have a few other small things that need fixing, so we'll have them tweak the oven as well.

I had the same problem with mine...while at the rally, the Suburban tech, Terry repaired it. It turned out being the venturi on the pilot assembly was drilled too large (apparently Suburban had a few bad ones get out, he knew of the problem). The fix was to replace the pilot assembly.

The venturi is the air inlet in the assembly that allows air to mix with the propane, too much air and it won't burn. Originally my dealership took a wild guess at the problem, replaced the oven controller, adjusted the thermocouple, and did a few other things. It was frustrating to say the least. You should let your dealership know to look at the pilot assembly first.
