Front led light strips coming off

I’m wondering if anybody is having trouble with the front lights coming off the TT? I’ve had my trailer in twice to fix this problem under warranty. They are a fixed with double stick tape that doesn’t seem to be holding. I just tried an adhesive silicone caulk to try the fix myself. Any other ideas out there?
    Thanks,

Ours are coming off in areas as well. Not taking it in to the dealer. They really are a pain in the a## to deal with. Trailer is brand new and has been pulled approximately 80 miles including bringing it home from the dealer. I tried a hot glue gun and it seamed to work for a while. Might try the Cahriad method and see how that works.

Contacted Grand Design tech support, they recommended 3M automotive double sided tape and smooth the ends of the LED strip to the body with clear silicone.

Just a little note about silicone. GDRV loves silicone sealant and I don't know why, it must be cheap. It sucks for exterior sealing. Every chance I get I use this

Lasts longer, doesn't attract dirt and can be applied over itself, unlike silicone.

My light strips came loose where they exit the cap. Cleaned off the silicone, stuck 'em back down with Proflex.

We have a 2018 2500 RL - same problem with the front LED light strips detaching. The 3m double sided automotive tape referred to worked great - fixed them last year - no problems since. I would suggest using the 1/4" tape which fits perfectly - it's very sticky stuff and trying to cut narrow pieces from wider tape could be aggravating.

had our 2500rl in for some service work and mentioned that the front lights were coming loose in a few places and they ordered parts. Took the camper home and we were in a hail storm.. The lights on both sides came off and were hanging by where they go int the camper. Rolled them up and put zip ties on them and duck taped them to the camper. Will get some of the above tape so if it happens again after the dealer fixes it I will be ready.
