Moderator Update
Just to advise the community, I have relinquished my volunteer moderator role on this forum. After many years and some 8600+ posts, I do want to continue as a Site Sponsor and I am "paid up" for a while longer . Andy has some very clear rules about what can and can't be said on his forum. I will respect his rules.

I know I am new to here, but what happened to the announcement about nothing changing on the site? I have really gathered a lot of knowledge from you Rob as well as the other moderators.

That's my question, also. And I'm not that new here.
The original announcement that Chris made regarding the change of administration said "Andy has assured me that it will be business as usual here."
And Andy said (on the same thread) "The whole team will remain the same. Typically, when starting to work with a new group for the first time we just hang out and see how things are done. We know each forum has its own vibe so it's our job to get a feel for that. As for a philosophical perspective on moderation, I feel it's very important that communities are moderated by their peers. We always work with the members to empower the team to foster the forums."
and
"... you all have lots of questions and are wondering what this means for Grand Design Owners. The short answer is business as usual. We know that each forum community has its own vibe and we don't want to disrupt that."
I guess we've learned otherwise.

Rob is leaving to start a new forum that will be owned and controlled by Grand Design. He did disclose that as his reason for his resignation with me. He just didn't disclose that as his reason here.2017 Toyota Tundra

Rob- we have never directly talked or met but I too wanted to thank you for your contributions. With any collective group there are a few natural leaders who stand out you being one of them. When you respond to a question, or comment on a post I listen- because your voice (and several others including other recent moderators) carries weight. I wish I knew more and many of us can read between the lines so to speak, but gather it is what it is. In any case thanks and I hope you remain an active contributing member.
