    Recurve R3 Hitch lubrication

    I have a Recurve R3 Hitch and am wondering if anyone lubricates where the spring bars contact the hook up hanger. I have noticed the paint on both has rubbed away and now there is a metal to metal situation going on but the manufacture only mentions lubricating the hitch using the grease fitting located on the trunnion spindle.

    Contacted Camco and they said no problem lubricating the spring bars. Gonna give it a try for our next trip.
