+1 for the equalizer. I use one to tow my 2600rb which has similar weights to your transcend. I also like that I don't need another anti-sway device as the hitch does it by design.
Deneisner is right about friction reducing situations, but they can affect any hitch besides the two he mentioned. Those are great but too rich for my blood.

I originally purchased the Equalizer 1400 with anti-sway, used it 4-5 times and it worked fine under normal driving conditions. Took a few trips to the scale to get the weight distribution dialed in, had to play with the washers and bar bracket heights.
After my last trip when the wind was blowing 30+ mph and semi truck were were causing my trailer to sway I decided to purchase the ProPride 1400. It's suppose to arrive tomorrow and plan on installing this weekend.Brian-USMC Retired

The problem with the blue ox is that I will have to get the bolt on mounts i cannot use the clampon. The clamp on has to be centered at 29 inches on the frame. The propride looks nice but I am not spending $2500 on a hitch. Especially when I can get the Equalizer 4 point for $519

If you lived close to Spokane I would make you a great deal on a Equalizer 1400 with 4 point sway, only used 5 times.

With all the hitches out there is can be quite an ordeal finding the one that you like and if for some reason it want work it could be costly; been there and done that one. I found a hitch that I liked and it did a super job in anything I encountered. So when I got this trailer I knew what I was going to order. Like the other one it took a little to get it dialed in but I knew the out come if I did it right. It works for me and I very happy with it.

I have a 2016 GMC 2500 Duramax..
And a 2017 GD 297RSTS..
These are not my first..
For me after a lot of research,
the only hitch is Reese Straight Line..
Except for the super expensive hitches,
the Straight line is the only one that does something to prevent sway before it starts,
as opposed to trying to do something about it after it has started ( friction brakes of one sort or another )..
The only complaint I have about the Straight line is that because and for the same reason that it is physically trying to prevent sway before it starts,
it is a very noisy hitch.. The moaning and groaning did take a bit of getting used to..

You have to look at the cam design to understand what I said above..
Just google it up and take a look..

Purchased a 2018 2600 RB last year and went with the R6 Recurve. TV is a 2007 5.7L 4WD Tundra. For me the R6 is the only way to go; the adaptive sway technology works awesomely well. Just watch your payload limit on your Tundra and you will be fine. My 2007's payload is 1395 lbs so I load light. Been on some long trips in the last year and it tows very well.
