I can't very often plan far enough ahead of time to attend these rallies. I may however be interested in stopping by if I was in the area. Most if not all the rallies I see posted say no day passes. I can understand not allowing the general public in. I don't understand someone who could show they owned a GD not being allowed to visit even if it was at a small fee for a day. Seems to be a little unwelcoming to me.

As pointed out, it doesn't have anything to do with "just using a day pass to come in and talk to people". It has to do with the costs covering certain aspects - catered meals, prizes, use of the facilities, etc and there not being enough for those people who just show up.

Everybody is wearing some kind of ID tag aren't they. Use a different pass that was not all inclusive for a day pass. AS I said before even if a small fee is charged. It can't cost you anything if I purchase something from a vendor.

No, everyone doesn't wear an ID. At least at the rallys I've been to. We've gotten tickets when we checked in for the rally for some events, but others were just "show up and enjoy". The vendors were not selling extra food/items. The speakers often had freebies to give away to participants, but no check of who was authorized to get them.

If you want to go and walk around just to talk to other owners and you’re not planning to eat the meals or participate in the events... just go for it.
It’s held on open public BLM land so you can go anywhere you want.
This is what I did last year, and so did several others. No one out there cared.

And here I sit a week and half out from the rally and I've received absolutely zero communications with info about the rally. I've e-mailed the contact address and asked.......
