Well it was a good thought to try before spending money on a new board.

Absolutely, spend enough without trying! Just hope that is all it is.

Hi Again. Iam not sure how old your unit is but Dometic refrigerator has two year parts and labor warranty. None of us want to deal with dealers. If you haven’t done this maybe call Dometic customer service and ask for any help possible. There is a board where the on/off buttons are as well as the control box board on the outside which it sounds like you have found. Maybe luck will come your way pointing you in the correct direction. I’ve had the outside box replaced and the board at the on/off buttons changed, my issue was different then yours. Iam also assuming you had no codes show up on your inside display? Good luck. Iam also assuming you have the four door model RM1350?

Still under warranty, unit is 6 months old. Dealer service sucks so I’ll call Dimetic or GD and get authorized for someone else to handle it.

Brand new owners of a 2020 Grand Design Solitude 310gk. We took our first trip with the coach and noticed the fridge with is the Gas/Electric Norcold fridge doesn't stay cold on the 110 electrical power, does it need more power? We ran on gas and we had no problem and we did not have a problem when we were hooked up to 50 amps. Has anyone else, had this issue? Freezer is really cold but fridge will not stay below 50 degrees. It was 80 degrees that day, not that warm. Anyone else have this problem?

Make sure your center flap is closing. This is a known issue and easily solved if it is the problem. Just reach in from the right side door and manually close the flap. Ours went from luke warm to needing to turn it down after discovering this issue.

We have a 2018 Grand Design Reflection 337RLS. We purchased it November of 2017. We have a Dometic 4 door refrigerator and have had nothing but issues with it. We have jumped through all kinds of hoops with Grand Design and Dometic to no avail. We have lost so much money on food, we have had to buy coolers and ice. This has been constant since we bought this RV. It has been over a year, so, as Grand Design says, your warranty has expired. I told Gloria Burdette, that the issue with the refrigerator has been going on since day one. It's really sad when you spend this kind of money for an RV, and cannot rely/use your refrigerator. Grand Design SHOULD replace it on their dime and/or TELL Dometic to make it right!!! Very very poor customer service

Dometic refrigerators come with a two year parts and labor warranty. Not sure if you contacted Dometic customer service about your issue but I would consider it if you haven’t. Gloria Burdette should be giving you a better answer then tuff luck. If you want a real answer about your issue and what Gloria told you contact Jerry McCarthy he’s a vp and explain this issue to him and how you were treated. Mr. McCarthy is a VP with Grand Design. He gets things done. Email [email protected]

It's not like RV refrigerators are cheap, with most models costing well over $1,000.

What's so bad is that they are not designed for long life, as the ammonia refrigerant will one day (10 years from now) will knock your head off when you open the door. The water from sweating doesn't drain properly, and the coils essentially deteriorate.

The good news is that the coils can be replaced and they can be rebuilt indefinitely as long as parts are available.
