B&W Companion Hitch is not level when hooked to trailer

I'm new to pulling a 5th wheel and using this type of hitch. Am I wrong to think the hitch plate should be level when the trailer is locked in and ready to tow? What do I need to do to level it out. I have attached a picture of the issue.

    Thanks,

    Mark

Can you take a picture from farther back. Looks like it could be the Flex air hitch jaws.

Interesting picture, I’ve been using a B&W for 5-6 years and when I read your post before looking at your picture I thought it was going to be side to side because they have a shock inside the hitch. But not this. Is your trailer sitting level when hitched up? Looks like some adjustment is necessary in either the height of the hitch or your pin box. You might also send the picture to B&W to get their opinion. I’ve done that and stopped by their factory a couple of times. Mike

It looks to me like the airbag in the hitch may need more air.

It looks like it is letting the lower "jaw" on the hitch set at that angle.

I think you are correct, Steve. I didn't think about adding more air until after I unhitched from the camper. I w.ill do that next week, thanks for the suggestion.

The trailer is a little tail high and the truck did sag alittle more than I liked today. I will need to double check the placement of the arms. The hitch did return to an almost level plane after I unhitched from the trailer. There is currently nothing inside the camper. 20 gal of fresh and 5 gal in each grey and black.
