Bottom door screwed shut in the hutch.

Looking at the Reflection 303RLS. Noticed the bottom left door on the hutch was screwed shut. Research says it is an access door for electrical, plumbing or ?. Can anyone shed a little more light on this as to exactly what is behind this access door? And depending on how often you need access, if you left the screw in the door or have removed the screw for easier access when needed? Thanks for any input on this.

Yes it's the Hot water tank behind that door that is screwed shut. I left it the way it came from the factory. You probably will never need to open it unless you have a hot water problem. You can see the back of the hot water tank. It's styrofoam insulation and the cold and hot water return connection.

No point in removing it if you don't need to. If you remove the drawer above it, you can see the top of the water heater and side of the furnace.

Ours is finished off just like the door on the lower right side probably since ours was an early build 10/13. We use the space after removing the screw, filling the holes, and installing a tightly closing matching finish latch. My understanding is that there were some incidents where the door had opened probably during transit and had nasty run ins (literally) with the slide out when opening and/or even possibly closing. We all always need to ensure all cabinets or anything else are not in the way of the slides when moving. Terrible damage and colorful words will probably be the result !

I had to get in there when we got the trailer. We had no hot water. Found that the water heater wasn't plugged in to the electrical outlet.
