How big?

I am new to towing a TT. I have been towing on the farm since I was a kid but now am looking at getting a TT. I have a 2017 F150 that has the max towing and payload options along with the 10 speed trans. Just looking for everyone's opinions, which I know is opening up a large discussion, but what is to big for this truck? Weight wise it is rated for over 12,000lbs but now that I will be hauling a giant sail down the road it changes that.

The other number of interest is the payload capacity from the tire and loading sticker on your driver’s door jamb.

I think you are ok with a 26’ and below. I have a 28bh and it is ok but I’m getting a new truck soon. I have only towed in relatively flat areas.
